I woke up convinced it was Friday. Actually convinced. I still catch myself confusing plans because I don’t know what day it is. I’m going to Whole a foods on Saturday so I’m probably just wishing I could go already. I wanted to start a series for my blog where I can share what I’ve been loving lately!
1. Frozen fruit
I’m having a serious moment with frozen fruit. It’s bordering on obsession. We get it, they are great for smoothies. I liking eating them frozen straight out of the bag as a snack. Especially when I get home from class at 8:30 and I didn’t bring enough to eat. I just ate a frozen whole fig. Kind of unusual, but it’s actually amazing. I was just in a fruit rut from consuming one too many apples.
I’m still loyal to Trader Joe’s raw creamy unsalted almond butter, but it’s good to switch things up. I’m loving the original crunchy Nutzo which is made from peanuts, cashews, almonds, flax seeds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds. It’s been my go to for a dollop of creaminess on my oatmeal.
3. The sun
Vitamin D aka what I was missing alllll winter long. Welcome back sun! I really have missed you. Nothing energizes me more than stepping outside for some fresh air.
4. Taking walks
I find walks very peaceful and instant exercise. It helps me think, forces me outside, and is an easy way to add more fitness to your life.
